A crisis prompted you to pick up a Bible, hoping to quickly find comfort or guidance for the moment. If you have never spent time reading the Word of God, you are likely to be empty. The Bible is rich enough, yet inspirational in the Bible, to guide us through every district. The scenario raises issues such as finance, fear, sorrow, parental responsibility, cleanliness, relationships, and responsibility for God and man. Here are some dossiers and one does not free the treasure found in the Scriptures to be in a better position in the future.
first Do not use the Bible as the yellow pages. Concordance or searching the Internet to find the verse that suits your needs is of little help if you have not read the poem to understand the context in which we used it. Your promises will enjoy some comfort if you do not know the character of God. More promises are conditional and do not apply to you.
2nd Do not spend time reading the Bible daily, not just when you are jammed. When I committed my life with Christ, I was in a church that encrypted daily Bible studies. The more I read in the Bible, which had not been touched on my bookshelves for years, the more I understood the hunger for God. The saints and variants that have been heard or read in Sunday school or in church years have come to life. I must know and know Christ through the Scriptures.
3rd Pray before reading the Bible. Ask God to help you understand the Scriptures and open your eyes to see wonderful things in His Word. We need the Holy Ghost to help us understand and receive the things of God (1 Corinthians 2: 14-16). When you read, ask him to teach and help you apply the lessons to your life.
4th Begin with the gospel of John and fill the rest of the New Testament and move to the Old Testament. In my first attempt to read the Bible, I began with Genesis. When I came to Leviticus, I lost the fight. Someone shared this advice with me, and the second and the Bible-read experiments were successful.
5th Try reading different translations of difficult-to-understand passageways. My favorite translation is the New King James Version (NKJV), as it is a literal translation and combines the beautiful verses of King James Version (KJV) with modern English. To seriously study the biblical book with literal translations. Others include the English standard version (ESV) and the new US standard (NASB).
6th Save and meditate on the Scriptures. This will help you renew your mind (Rom. 12: 1-2) when you begin to see the world from the perspective of God and create eternal thought. The Holy Ghost also brings a poem to your memory when you only need it most (John 14:26).
The Bible God has given us a love letter. Reading will experience Christ and His love. If you leave without a personal contact, you will be creating something as soon as you see it needs it. God's wonderful love for us becomes evident through the scriptures. As you spend time in the word of God, it changes. As a result, you can avoid obstacles and pitfalls that would have the consequences of your sin. In the next storm you will know that whoever tells you that he is not afraid, with you, and will help you (Isaiah 41:10). You will know he loves you more than you can imagine. You will know that he is sovereign. You will know that you are capable and loyal. Inspiring biblical poems will become more meaningful to you. Know the Bible God and make it time to spend time in the Word to find out these truths before you face the circumstances.
