Nursing Stress Management
I spent 6 months at the National Health Service (NHS) in a hospital in the UK. I was not a nurse, but an administrator. But I've learned a lot of things that help nurses with stress management. I had to work closely with nurses and doctors and I had to see the conditions that they included.
I recommend the following techniques not only for nursing, but for other stressful work:
Care and physicians require tremendous energy. Some departments need to be in the sun, and workloads might be enormous.
Keeping the body in place, puts your body in a better position to cope between your body and emotional strains.
2. Healthy Diet
Doctors and nurses all know that good nutrition is good health but often has no time to eat. Or too tired to go home straight.
Tips I would suggest: • A really healthy breakfast to eat: A noodle with fruits, nuts and dried fruits is a wonderful pursuit, and will also keep you out of lunch. O Enjoy a lot of energy: carbohydrates such as brown rice, noodles, potatoes to maintain a wonderful energy level, protein (chicken, white meat, bananas because of good energy) and nut (high energy source) .
I found the following techniques very powerful and I use them regularly in meetings and business situations.
To reduce stress, there are several ways to use visualization:
1. Imagine being surrounded by white light at all times of the day, especially if you're really in a stressful situation.
2nd When you start to stress, deep breathing and imagine the roots coming out of your feet. Release the voltage into the ground.
3rd It reflects the terrain around you. Do not let stress and illness in you. Reflect it.
4. Loving kindness (Tonglen)
This technique is completely different from the techniques above but it is important to see what works for you.
Amazing Tibetan Buddhist scientist Pema Chodron. Teachers call a technique for Tongle. The idea is to breathe others into pain and breathe in love and compassion.
This technique was used by many Tibetan monks during the persecution of the Chinese. This is a testimony to how well it works!
first You are facing a difficult situation or in a man; angry, stressful or nervous.
2nd They consciously breathe in their darkness or pain.
3rd Then breathe out a white light, love, compassion, joy, anxiety.
4th Inhale all the pain and darkness of the world
5. Let the healing and the light be breathed out to all creatures.
It's really very simple and your heart opens in joy and in love, not in the end of fear and pain. Try it now and see how it works. Think of the painful man and do it for them.
It may be very useful to repeat the statements in very stressful situations. If your mind is dread how difficult it will be.
