Stress in the US business comes a long way. Estimates range from $ 80 billion a year to $ 300 billion in diseases, absenteeism, reduced productivity, accidents, mistakes, burns, high traffic and soaring health insurance premiums.

It is not surprising, then, that many companies struggled with the stressful epidemic in an aggressive manner with the anti-stress arsenal. But there is a question of bitterness. If all of the stress management programs are so effective why so many workers have stressed it?

The answer may be that some organizations simply try too hard. Efforts to reduce stress are actually contributing to it. Well-meaning, like stress programs, many are complicated and time-consuming, require a lot of reading and recall, difficult to understand theories and practical advice, or simply not related to employees at their level.

Keep in mind that people who need stress are not time … and patience. They do not have time to participate in long-term stress seminars that drag them away from the task that emphasizes them. They have little patience to think about the guides and procedures in question in order to dig out those rare nuggets that are relevant to their situation. Some stress programs only treat the symptoms of stress, not the causes. They have a lasting effect. Workers are disappointed and cynical because they believe that nothing will work and will not return to their costly, stressful ways.

What can management and human resource professionals do to overcome these effective stress management barriers, their employees with solutions that connect and cling to? A good starting point is to offer simple, honest, targeted strategies for employees to quickly fit into their lives – techniques that attract attention and produce immediate results. They are less intrusive, require little or no time to implement, and the user is in the right starting position. To give some examples, I chose the following ten workplace strategies in my book and seminars that were tested with thousands of readers and participants positive feedback from around the world. Simply forward them by e-mail or interoffice memo. I think you can have a significant positive impact on your employees as well.

Do one thing at a time. Do it right. Enjoy satisfaction. Then proceed to the next thing. Multitasking can work for computers, but people need to get rid of it. More and more evidence confirms that trying more things at the same time takes more time than one after the other. This consumes too much mental energy, so you get tired faster. The lack of attention also leads to carefree mistakes, whimsical work and unreliable performance. The worst thing to do is do things. This is not a lifestyle. Specify what the undivided attention is doing. Take time to keep it okay. It will be more effective and less stressful in the long run.

Deleting Long Run Time Projects

If you receive "Luxury Delivery" in time, do not disperse it. Start right away when your enthusiasm and understanding are at its peak. Then spend a little time each day to keep up the momentum. So all the ideas on the project are positive: "I'm on the case, I'll do it." Put it down and all thoughts will become more negative: "Yikes, I have not even started!" Which can lead to great stress over time. And a big crisis as soon as the deadline approaches has forgotten what to do, and the enthusiasm was replaced by anxiety and dread. Come on early. Work better in less time without stress

Do not let unhealthy workplace stress persist

If your workload or project can not be completed without getting rid of your hair or suffering from a near stroke of trouble, speak early , not bottles up and can not do the job accurately and professionally. And this is positively offered, if possible; it takes more time; you may participate in the project within the specified time; or need more help. If you are a good associate, you must respect respect and compliance. It does not help anyone to say anything and let them eat prosperity and both you and your company think it's bad performance.

Stress is often caused, there is a constant need for micromanage, the fear that every minute he will turn when he turns his back. Time-consuming details are canceled, stifled by the participation and growth of others, and creates excessive tension across the board. Take the leap of faith. Learn to learn. Assign tasks and give others the opportunity to prove themselves. You can gradually eliminate it to gain trust and minimize mistakes, but you can start charging the repressive little things that are unnecessarily drowning in your life. In a relatively short time, you can significantly reduce stress by simply transferring it.

Be a team player.

It is much more productive – and less stressful – in teamwork. In your work, in your family, in your community. When it comes to work and responsibility to alleviate pressure, everyone becomes more cooperative. Like when we are thinking of complete packages, we are not. We need others to contribute to what we miss to balance our collective strengths and weaknesses. Let go of the urge to put everything down or take the credit. Society is a team of effort and success that is most joyful when everyone is involved.

Rotating on different projects.

For example, if you need three projects for the next week, you will need to complete one long stretch, stretched and tiring. Instead, share your time every third day and work all three. Each project provides a refreshing break for the rest while continuing to make progress. As an enterprise who rotates plants to keep the soil rich and productive, changing tasks will make you more alert and more thoughtful so you can make your work faster and more enjoyable.

Are you a chocolate?

How much time does losing control over things. Check the weather. Check the time. Check the markets. Check out your email. Check your hair. Check your voicemail. Check the news. Check the makeup. Make sure your wallet is still in your pocket. How much do you forget about your day when you do this? More than I would care. Slow down. Things will not break when you do not see. So resist the urge to get constant, unnecessary, monotonous upgrades. Use this time to keep the focus and do more. If you try to check something out … just leave it.

Forget the deadlines. What about the start lines?

To a society that is obsessed with the end of a project, we are curious when to start. And that may be all the most important factors. This can explain why they do not meet so many deadlines. Instead of something due, it must be emphasized that it is in the process. Set a "start line". That is, a time before it is essential to start a project, so it will not be done urgently and pale. If you stick to the start line, it not only provides effective, inscrutable performance but also eliminates the need for a deadline … and the anxiety that comes with it. Which "line" do you prefer to work with?

Be a Good Gear Switcher

You may be doing a job where you have to throw something away to take care of something. This can be a never-ending source of stress and frustration. If you leave it. Or, as unlikely as it seems now, you can tell yourself to get used to … enjoy it yet! When you are ready for such interruptions, you may be tempted to break, knowing that later you will come back to loose goals. Let's just give everything that you do at the moment you have your special focus … and leave it as soon as you need it. Fast transition is a skill, an art that you can learn, find your master and satisfaction.

Get up and stretch

Especially when you have a desktop or computer job. The day at work can not be like an eight hour flight. From time to time, get off the chair and stand up, stretching your arms and legs – squatting, bent sideways, rolling heads, walking, etc. Blood can flow freely, relax the spasmodic muscles and joints, help you think more clearly and relieve stress. Give your body a quick schedule for at least one or two minutes per hour

Maintain the presence of the mind.

It's easy to get sick, panic and lose the restlessness when you run and pressure. The level of error is soaring, carelessness abounds, and courtesy often comes out the window. The worse is the situation. Exercise the presence of the mind under pressure. Take a slow deep breath and calm down and check the crisis. Learn how to handle things more effectively, even more quickly, when they try to keep you cool. Hysteria Is Nothing
